it’s as simple as it looks and sounds. to #doit4wildlife is taking any action that benefits our planet or your appreciation of it.

on the simplest end, it could be something like just going outside, being present in the moment in your nearest or preferred natural area. it could be taking an economic action, not allowing an environmentally-negligent corporation more of your hard-earned money, or organizing members of your community to do the same, instead saving those funds for people and groups that engage in pro terra actions.

it could be breaking down and overcoming negative stereotypes surrounding specific animal species whose ecosystems would crumble were it not for their presence. it could be recycling, riding mass transit, etc. – all the things you’ve probably heard from the older folks hundreds of times. it could be discovering the first inhabitants of the land you live on and how they cared, and often still care, for it.

but it could also be more direct, like calling your legislature to push back on laws and government orders that damage wild lands. it could be gathering in person to protest those orders, each voice amplifying the other. and on the furthest end, it could be sitting directly in the path of ecological destruction like countless land defenders and water protectors across this continent have before.
